    Seasonal Patchwork – 4th

This is a pattern from Fig Tree Quilts. This pattern has three different versions – Christmas, Fall, and the 4th. I bought kits to make all three. I finally got around to making this quilt and finishing it -just in time for the 4th this year! Various Fig Tree fabrics were used to make this quilt. And the pieced back. Related Images:

    Sidelines Quilts

I belong to Secret Stich Co’s shipments for Robin Pickens and Lella Boutique. Each fabric release, they send out a custom project using that fabric line that you cannot get anywhere else. For the Superbloom collection, the project was a duo of table runners – a light version and a dark version. This is the dark version – of course. And the light version. Related Images:

    Spooled Block of the Month

Each year with the Fat Quarter Shop Sew Sampler boxes, not only do they have patterns for the projects, they include a Block of the Month patterns for the year (April – March). This year, the name of the Block of the Month is Spooled. I purchased the kit from FQS and made the first three blocks this past weekend. These blocks were pretty easy to make. I did make a mistake in blocks 1 and 2. I chose the wrong fabric for the dark fabric. It was supposed to be month 2’s dark fabric. Because I made that mistake, I had to change the dark fabric for month 2 as well. They still turned out cute. The fabric is Petals and Polka Dots by Bunny Hill Fabrics Related Images:
